The fourth annual Churubusco baseball chili supper and auction was successful as it raised over $1,000 for the baseball program. Along with the jersey auction, the autographed baseballs, baseball cards and ice fishing poles helped put the event over the top. The funds will be used to purchase new bats (the IHSAA has changed the bat regulations this season), a tarp for home plate and other equipment for the team.
Coach Mark Grove would like to thank all individuals who donated items for the auction and everyone who attended. by Don Hiatt This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
