CHEERS TO: The people that are conservative in their use of electricity because the more that is used the more pollution power companies put into the air to provide it.
-Wayne Yager
CHEERS TO: The Key Club members and Mr. Moore for working so hard with the Bake Sale held last week to raise money for the Gazebo Project. They raised over $250 for the second phase of the Eagle Memorial Garden. The Key Club also has a Money Wars project involving a certain winning teacher wearing a "cow" outfit as the prize...pictures coming next week on this fundraising event!
AND CHEERS TO: Several businesses who donated substantial funds to the Gazebo Project; Northeastern REMC, Churubusco Rotary Club, PNA Bank, and McDonald’s. Thanks!!!
AND CHEERS TO: The community businesses/ individuals paying $50 to purchase a small plaque to support the Gazebo Project fundraising. See Cindy Zollinger or Julie Mast of CES for more information if you are interested. Seven plaques have already been purchased! Cheers!!!
AND CHEERS TO: The people who have already purchased a hand and given a high $5 to help the Gazebo Project. Sales of hands will be handled through Key Club members supported by the Auburn Kiwanis Club throughout February and March at school events.
AND CHEERS TO: Some junior students in Mrs. Sim's class that are writing persuasive letters to acquire donations for the Gazebo Project. They are able to help our community start new traditions by remembering the past and taking the present into the future by helping build this "community" gazebo to be located in the Eagle Memorial Garden. Hopes are to have prom pictures taken this May in the new Gazebo.
-Julie Mast

-Thanks,
