CHEERS TO: SGCS Business Manager Todd Fleetwood and the School Board for moving forward with financing for some much needed projects. I understand the concerns about the debt that will be created as a result, but the time is definitely right. We may never see interest rates this low again so it makes sense to take advantage by pursuing a long-term loan. The recent trend for corporations has been to redeem some of their short-term debt and lock in attractive longer-term funding . . . something the school corporation could consider depending on the structure of their previous debt financing. We all want our children to learn in the best environment possible and addressing these "must do" projects is a step in the right direction.

WHATABOUT: Remembering Abraham Lincoln Sunday, February 12. Praying for a nationwide revival consisting of individual repentance from sin and a return to the Biblical values upon which America was founded.
