INDIANAPOLIS -- Karen Sue Kriesel, 63, of Indianapolis, passed away on Tuesday, May 29, 2012.
Born February 28, 1949, in Indianapolis, she was the daughter of the late James and Joan Koser Stamm. She was a graduate of Warren Central High School. She received her Bachelor and Master Degrees in Education from Indiana University Purdue University, Indianapolis.
She married Keith Kriesel, and was a teacher for over 28 years; the majority of those years spent in elementary education and as a teacher for the Southwest/Northwest/Smith-Green Special Ed Coop. She was a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church.
She is survived by her loving husband, Keith A. Kriesel; children, Susan J. Kriesel and Nathan E. (Angela) Kriesel; and brothers, Michael and Jeffrey Stamm.
Service is 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 5, 2012, at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, 3421 N. Park Avenue, Indianapolis (IN, 46205), with visitation from 10-11 a.m. Visitation also from 4-8 p.m. Monday, June 4, 2012, at the church.
Memorial contributions may be made to Our Redeemer Lutheran Church and/or Redeemer Hospitality Mission (RHM).
