RICHMOND -- Phyllis A. Myers, 82, of Richmond, died on Tuesday, January 24, 2012, at Forest Park Health Campus.
Born September 10, 1929, in Fort Wayne, she was the daughter of the late Clinton L. and Lucille Fry Tobias and had lived in Richmond since 1977. She was a graduate of Fort Wayne Central Catholic High School and she was a homemaker. She was a member of Saint Mary Church, Richmond.
Survivors include her husband, Paul Myers whom she married on June 19, 1948; children, Dennis (Kay) Myers of Evansville, Renee (Clyde) Bowlin of Churubusco, Kevin (LeeAnn) Myers of Leo, Lynn (Ted) Marinakes of Richmond, and Lisa Myers of Indianapolis; sister, Nancy Lash of Florida; brother; Frank Tobias of Tucson, Ariz.; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Kay Myers.
Liturgy of Christian Burial is 10 a.m. Friday, January 27, 2012, in Saint Mary Church, Richmond, where friends may call one hour prior to the service. Father Todd Riebe officiating.
Burial is 2 p.m. Friday, January 27, 2012, in Catholic Cemetery, Fort Wayne.
