Angelo Marcano

FORT WAYNE -- Angelo L. Marcano, 48, a resident of Fort Wayne, passed away at 5:22 a.m. on Sunday, January 8, 2012, at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio. He had been in declining health for the past five years.
Mr. Marcano was born in Southbridge, Massachusetts on December 27, 1963, a son of Carlos and Felicita (Cruz) Marcano, and spent his formative years there. He lived in Hawaii for a period before moving to Fort Wayne in 1991.
Previously employed as a tile installer at Contract Interiors in Fort Wayne, he had owned and operated Marcano's Tile Works in Fort Wayne for the past four years. Most importantly in his life he was a loving husband, father, son, and brother.
On October 15, 2006 he was married in Fort Wayne to Rebecca "Becky" Marcano. She survives.
The other surviving relatives include his son, Angel Marcano, Jr. of Fort Wayne; two stepsons, Bill Wetzel and Andy Wetzel, both of Fort Wayne; his parents, Carlos and Felicita Marcano of Southbridge, Mass; two brothers, Carlos (Gabrielle) Marcano and Edwin (Danita) Marcano, both of Fort Wayne; his sister, Wilda Marcano of Soutbridge, Mass; several aunts and uncles; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, January 13, 2012, in the Northside Missionary Church, 736 Lillian Avenue, Fort Wayne. Pastor Pat Ryan will officiate.
The family will receive friends at the church after 11 a.m. on Friday until the time of the service.
