HUNTERTOWN -- Juanita M. Warner, 87, passed away Monday, February 20, 2012 at her home in Huntertown. Born in Allen County, IN, Juanita worked for Fort Wayne National Bank for 40 years, retiring in 1987. She was a member of Agape Church of the Brethren, in their choir, seniors, and women's fellowships groups, American Business Women's Association New Era Chapter, Church Women United, Dana Retirees, Parkview Seniors, and supporter of her husband's WWII Red Raiders 22nd Bomber Group. She and her husband enjoyed traveling around the world. She was very active in her children and grandchildren's school and music events.
Surviving are her son, Dale H. (Jody) Warner of Huntertown; daughter, Becky A. (Chuck) Morris of Churubusco; grandchildren, Kara, Kyle (Kendra), Ryan Morris, and Josh and Jennifer Warner. Juanita was preceded in death by mother, Aldia McDuffee; father, Milton McDuffee; and husband, Harry Warner.
Service is 11 a.m. Saturday, February 25, 2012 at Agape Church of the Brethren, 11610 Lima Road, with calling one hour prior, Pastor Jeffrey Copp officiating. Calling at D.O. FORT WAYNE -- Pete N. Miller, 73, passed away Saturday, February 18, 2012 at Villages Hospital in The Villages, Florida.
Born in Daviess County, IN. Pete worked as a self- employed Home Building Contractor for 42 years, He was a member of The Chapel, Home Builders Association and Blackhawk Ministries.
Surviving are his wife, Pamela (Culmann) Miller of The Villages, FL; sons, Jeff (Dawn) Miller, Mike Miller, Jason Miller, Mitch Miller; stepchildren, Sonya Taylor, Jim Robison, and Connie (Kati) Robison; grandchildren, Jenna (Jay) Rosswurm, Michael, Kasey, Cory, Ariel, Mariah, Dalton and Cassie Miller; great-grandchildren; JayLynn Rosswurm and Jackson Rosswurm; stepgrandchildren, Morgan Taylor and Sam Robison; stepgreat-grandchild, Zayla Culmann- Swanson; sister, Margaret Gingrich. He was preceded in death by his parents, Noah and Margaret Miller; brothers, Joe Miller, Alva Miller, Elmer Miller, Amos Miller, John Miller and Paul Miller. FORT WAYNE -- Gloria A. Haughey, 84, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Wednesday, February 15, 2012.
Born in Dobbs Ferry, N. Y., she worked at the Social Security Department for 24 years, retiring in 1989. She also had volunteered with the Red Cross Disaster Relief.
Surviving are her daughter, Pamela (David) Alford of Churubusco; son, Ronald May of California; three grandchildren; and one great-grandson. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frederick and Esther Schaefer; and sister, Lorraine Richardson.
Private services were held.

COLUMBIA CITY -- Dale E. Geiger, 78, of rural Columbia City, passed away at 4:34 a.m. on Friday, February 17, 2012 at Manatee Memorial Hospital in Bradenton, Fl., where he spent his winters.
Mr. Geiger was born on December 11, 1933 in Columbia City, a son of Clifton J. “Jake” and Irene (Krider) Geiger. He spent his formative years in rural Columbia City all within a mile of his current residence.
He lived at his current residence since 1965 and had been a dairy farmer for 17 years. He was also a grain farmer until he retired at the age of 70.
On January 18, 1958 he was married in Decatur to Janice Irene Owen.
Mr. Geiger was a member of Sugar Grove Church of God, Churubusco, and the FFA of Whitley County. He enjoyed fixing old John Deer Tractors in his older years. He was the Bicycle Man of Florida. He would buy and fix old bikes to resell.
His spouse preceded him in death on August 31, 2009.
The surviving relatives include a daughter, Debra (Phil) Gebert; a son, Dalen (April) Geiger, both of Columbia City; three sisters, Helen Blanchard of North Manchester, Mary Sutton of Huntertown, and Shirley Rugg of Lagrange; a brother, Charles “Chic” Geiger of Churubusco; three granddaughters, Brelle (Brandon) Bridge, Bralen Gebert, and Brittany Geiger; a grandson, Colton Geiger; a great-granddaughter, Ella Bridge.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clifton J. “Jake” and Irene (Krider) Geiger; a brother, Guy Geiger in 1970; three brothers-in-law, Robert Blanchard, Herb Sutton, and Jack Rugg; a sister-in-law, Dottie Geiger.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Sugar Grove Church of God, with Pastor Timothy Grable, officiating.
The family will receive friends at the Sheets & Childs Funeral Home from 3 to 8 p.m. Monday, or one hour prior to the service.
Burial will be in the Eel River Cemetery, Allen County.

CHURUBUSCO -- Pauline McBride, 89, of Churubusco, passed away at 7:10 a.m. on Thursday, February 16, 2012 at her residence in Churubusco.
Mrs. McBride was born on February 14, 1923 in Churubusco, a daughter of Bert J. and Edith (Bice) Grim. She spent her formative years in Huntertown, and graduated from Huntertown High School in 1941.
On June 7, 1941 she was married in Angola to Ralph R. McBride, and moved from Huntertown to Churubusco where she had lived since 1949.
She was a homemaker. She loved her dogs, watching birds, and the flowers grow.
Her spouse preceded her in death on November 13, 1992.
The surviving relatives include two sons, Rodger (Jeanette) McBride of Huntertown and Steven C. McBride of Churubusco; three daughters, Gayle Ross of Savannah, GA, Kathy (Dan) Nichter of Columbia City, and Marilyn (Rusty) Reed of Churubusco; nine grandchildren and one stepgrandchild; 16 great-grandchildren and two stepgrea-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and spouse, she was preceded in death by her two sister, Grace Surface and Blanche Kumfer Kurtz.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Sheets & Childs Funeral Home, with Rick Van Horn, officiating.
The family will receive friends & family at the Sheets & Childs Funeral Home from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, or one hour prior to the service.
Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery, Huntertown.
