Churubusco FFA saw a huge increase in membership for the 2011-12 school year. Last year participation had risen to a new high, but numbers exploded this school year topping out at sixty! Busco FFA members have the opportunity to participate in a variety of events, including: Leadership, judging teams, community service, and fun activities that keep students interested in the organization. The National FFA envisions a future in which all agricultural education students will discover their passion in life and build on that insight to chart the course for their educations, career and personal future.
Churubusco FFA spent a little time on the slopes this past weekend. The FFA traveled to Timber Ridge Ski Resort near Gobles, Michigan. Skiing and snowboarding kept members busy during a beautiful day at the resort. This was Busco FFA’s second year for the chapter ski trip. It served as a day of fun and recreation for FFA members, and a few FFA parents.
