Gretchen Meinzen won a gold key award for the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards regional competition hosted by the Fort Wayne Museum of Art.  There was an awards ceremony on February 12 to honor students at the Grand Wayne Convention Center.  Her still life drawing done in charcoal will advance to national judging for winning a gold key.  Her piece will be on display at the museum from now until April 8.
