Four Churubusco Elementary School students were selected through an audition process to participate in the Indiana Music Educators Elementary Honors Choir at the organization’s professional development conference held January 20-21 in Fort Wayne. After being selected, these students learned advanced choral music independently and with their music teacher, Sue Lough, during the past two months. They rehearsed on Thursday and Friday with over 100 other students from around the State of Indiana and the experience ended with a concert at the Embassy Theater on Friday afternoon for the conference attendees and the parents and friends of the students. The CES students receiving this honor were Taylor Bock, Rebekah Huelsenbeck, Rachel Jacquay and Julianne Edwards.
