The 4-H Carnival and Ground Hog Supper held on January 28 at the Noble County Community Fairgrounds in Kendallville proved to be a popular activity for young and old alike.
The Carnival was sponsored by the Noble County 4-H Exhibit Corporation, 4-H Leaders and Jr. Leaders.
Several youth were winners of door prizes given away throughout the evening: Wade Meyer of Albion, Joel Smith of Angola, Ethan Freed, Jayden Davidson, Matthew Landrum, Zack Leighty and Jack Bolinger of Kendallville, and Lee Stringfellow of Wawaka were big winners of 4-H items.
The Ground Hog was in attendance and posed for several pictures with adults and youth. Those interested in enrolling in 4-H were able to play games with the featured attraction being “Groundhog Bowling”, and gather information about the 4-H program.
The Noble County Community Fair Board hosted a pork burger supper from 5-7 p.m. with the generous donation of pork burgers by the Noble County Pork Producer organization. A big thank you to them for making this a successful evening.
