CHURUBUSCO -- Clarence E. Sible, 90, of Churubusco, passed away at 12:25 a.m. Friday, August 27, 2010, at North Ridge Village Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Albion.
Born September 8, 1919, in Smith Township, Whitley County, he was the son of Elmer and Elva (Rice) Sible.
He was a lifetime resident of Churubusco and attended school in Eel River Township, rural Allen County. On March 1, 1941, he married Blanche M. Freeman in Columbia City. Clarence was both a lifetime general and hog farmer. He was also an avid fisherman.
Survivors include his daughter, Judy A. (Harold) Schinbeckler of Churubusco; six grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Blanche M. Sible and son, Larry L. Sible.
Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Sunday at DeMoney-Grimes Countryside Park Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Dr., Columbia City. Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home with Certified Funeral Celebrant Sharon Brockhaus officiating. Burial will follow at Eel River Cemetery, south of Churubusco.

FORT WAYNE -- Virginia E. “Ginny” Lantz, 88, of Fort Wayne, passed away Wednesday, August 25, 2010, at her residence.
She was born in Roanoke. All the grandchildren will greatly miss “Grandma Cookie.” Ginny was loved by her family and friends.
Surviving are her son, DeWayne E. (Carol) Trim of Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Douglas E. (Michelle) Trim of Churubusco and DeChelle (Donald) Rice of Fort Wayne; five great-grandchildren; and sister, Helen Smithson of Fort Wayne. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Lantz; son, Larry Trim; brothers, Richard, Billie, Jesse and Kenneth Fulmer; sisters, Elvie Ummel, Lucille Joseph, Velma Mills, Dottie Fulmer and Evelyn Fulmer.
Service is 11 a.m. Monday, August 30, 2010 at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Road, Fort Wayne with visitation one hour prior to service. Visitation also from 4-7 p.m. Sunday, August 29, 2010 at the funeral home.
Burial in Lindenwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are to Heartland Hospice or American Diabetes Association.

FORT WAYNE -- Virginia E. “Ginny” Lantz, 88, of Fort Wayne, passed away Wednesday, August 25, 2010, at her residence.

AUBURN -- Stanley Dale Muzzillo, 78, of Auburn, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, August 25, 2010, surrounded by his family. He suffered a stroke on Saturday, August 20, 2010, and was taken to Lutheran Hospital, in Fort Wayne.
He was a U.S. Army Korean War veteran. He worked for the U.S. Postal Service, retiring in 1990 as Postmaster of the LaOtto Post Office. He also prepared income tax  returns for many area residents for over 40 years. He married Janet Debes on July 2, 1955; she survives.
Also surviving are one son, three daughters; 10 grandchildren; one great-grandson; two brothers; and four sisters.
Service is 2 p.m. Sunday, August 29, 2010, at Feller & Clark Funeral Home, Auburn. Calling is from 2-7 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
The family asks that memorials be directed to Riley’s Hospitals for Children or Church of Christ, 10th and Jackson Street, Auburn, IN 46706.

COLUMBIA CITY -- Deanna Marie Wagner, 37, of Columbia City, passed away at 6:34 p.m. Saturday, August 21, 2010 at Monroe Hospital, Bloomington, due to injuries she sustained in an ATV accident.
Born August 12, 1973 in Auburn, she was a daughter of Fredrick J. and Sherry Lindell (Williams) Harroff.
She attended Columbia City High School and Cornerstone Christian Schools. Raised in Churubusco and a current Whitley County resident, she was a homemaker.
Survivors include her parents, Fredrick and Sherry Harroff of Columbia City; daughters, Hope Ann and Faith Lynn Wagner, both of Columbia City; sisters, Kimberley (Garry) Gorsuch of Albion and Roberta (Dean) Wort of Hicksville, Ohio; maternal grandmother, Phyllis Walerstein of Columbia City; six nieces and nephews; and fiance, Neil Carpenter of Columbia City.
She was preceded in death by twin sons, Matthew and Anthony Wagner.
DeMoney-Grimes Countryside Drive Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements. At the family’s request, there was no funeral service.

COLUMBIA CITY -- Carolyn A. Green, 65, of Columbia City, Ind. passed away at 8:16 a.m. on Saturday, August 21, 2010, at her residence. Born on February 13, 1945 in Fort Wayne, Indiana, she was the daughter of Robert V. Benson and Virginia P. (Peters) Jackson.
She is a lifetime resident of Columbia City and graduated from Churubusco High School with the Class of 1963. On October 30, 1990, she married Fredrick K. Green, Jr. in Columbia City. A wife, mother and homemaker, she also worked at Wal-Mart for seven years.
Survivors include her husband, Fredrick K. Green, Jr. of Columbia City; son, Matthew (Amy) R. Boggs of Wawaka, Ind.; daughter, Tracie (Dale) M. Wicker of Columbia City; mother, Virginia P. (Larry) Jackson of Fort Wayne, Ind.; sister, Marilyn (Mike) I. Cramer of Huntertown, Ind.; and six grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert V. Benson.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, August 23, 2010 at 11 a.m. at Eel River Cemetery, 11400 West Carroll Road, Churubusco. Memorials may be given in memory of Mrs. Green to the Columbia City Fire Department. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
