Michelle Nardine and Nate Dodson announce their engagement and approaching marriage. Michelle is the daughter of Mike and Laurel Nardine, Vincennes. Nate is the son of Don and Peggy Dodson, Churubusco. The couple will marry at 5 p.m. on Saturday, September 4, 2010, at Sugar Grove Church in Churubusco. An outdoor reception will follow the ceremony at the Dodson home. Michelle graduated from Lincoln High School in 2004 and Indiana University in 2008, with a degree in health and science. She is a registered dietitian at Monroe Hospital in Bloomington. Nate graduated from Churubusco High School in 2002 and Indiana University in 2008, with a degree in environmental management. He works for Ecologic Restoration in Bloomington.

Stephanie Schnurr and Terry Herendeen announce the engagement of their son, Wesleigh Herendeen, Indianapolis, to Hilary Shafer, Fishers. The bride-elect is the daughter of Doug and Vicki Shafer, Fishers. She is a 2005 graduate of Hamilton Southeastern, 2009 graduate of Indiana University - Bloomington, with a degree in health administration and is employed by Bolthouse Farms. Her fiancé is the son of Terry Herendeen and Stephanie and Sam Schnurr, all of Churubusco. He is a 2005 graduate of Churubusco High School, 2009 graduate of Indiana University - Bloomington, with a degree in criminal justice and is employed by Safecare, Indianapolis. The couple is planning to be married on Saturday, August 28, 2010, at St. Luke’s United Methodist Church, Indianapolis.

He graduated from Columbia City High School in 1996 and has a Bachelors in Agricultural Economics from Purdue University. He is employed by Custer Grain, Inc.

The parents and family of Laurie Klein of South Bend and Joel Sommer of Niles, Michigan, would like to announce their upcoming wedding. The bride-elect is the daughter of Larry Klein, of Princeton, Illinois, and Earlene Klein, of Churubusco. She is a graduate of Churubusco High School and Appalachian Bible College. The groom-elect is son of David and Ruth Sommer of Bolivia, South America. He is a graduate of New Tribes Missions School, Tambo, Bolivia and Pensacola Christian College. The couple plans to be married on Saturday, May 29, 2010 at Merriam Christian Chapel, Albion. They will be residing in Niles, Michigan. Laurie will continue on staff at Life Action Ministries, Buchanan, Michigan, and Joel will continue in his position at CP Industries, Granger.
