Girls 11-12 year old All-Stars win championship

The Churubusco girls 11-12 year old All-star softball team traveled to Homestead High School last week to play in the District Ten Little League Championship. The team finished the tournament with an exciting win over Don Ayers in the 7th inning 16 to 15, to win the championship. Good News Baptist team Tournament and Season Champs: The Churubusco Youth League Minor Boys Baseball Team sponsored by Good News Baptist Church finished their season June 29 with a regular season record of 12-0 and tournament record of 3-0, making them the Tournament and Season Champs.
