John Gaff found an Indian headstone on his farm. The stone weighed between eight and ten pounds and was over 300 years old. Mr. Gaff had found numerous Indian artifacts over the years.

Chad Stillwell was the new owner of East of Chicago Pizza in Churubusco. His daughter Megan was night shift supervisor. Stillwell said “It’s Pizza Done Right.”

Smith-Green Community Schools was the recipient of a $100,000 Classroom Innovation Grant for the second year in a row. Of the 22 school districts that received the grant the year before, only 16 were chosen to have the grant extended for the 2012-13 year.
