LaTisa and Chris Baryo and John and Jeni Schmidt, Churubusco, announce the engagement of their son, Eddie Schmidt, Cincinnati, Ohio, to Dana Genet, also of Cincinnati. Eddie is a 2006 graduate of Churubusco High School and a 2010 graduate of DePauw University with a major in communications and a minor in psychology. He is employed as merchant account executive at Fifth Third Bank. His fiancé is the daughter of Doyle and Rebecca Genet, Tell City, Indiana. She is a 2005 graduate of Perry Central High School and a 2009 graduate of DePauw University, with a major in German and a minor in chemistry. She is employed as the executive MBA assistant at Xavier University, where she also attends classes to maintain a Master of Science degree in executive human resources. The couple will be married on June 16, 2012 at St. Paul’s Cathedral in Cincinnati. At this time, they plan to make Cincinnati their home.
